Jan 2010 - updated the Ilithi maps with power levels for the life mana, along with updating the maps as needed for that province. Also, added quite a few flowers and pickables to the flower page.
Well, I *had* been updating all the maps! Due to the power perceive changes from June 2009, I will be re-checking the mana in all the areas again. A copy and link to all those posts can be found here along with a link to Olwydd's power perceive level table. Over the next few months, I will be updating the maps with the new information, however in the interim I have posted 'blank' maps on the site so you can add in the information yourself for areas you commonly use.
- As of August 2009, all the map mana information was cleared off and replaced with a blank (white) box. If there is shading or an ‘X’ on the maps now, it is a mana level found in the updated power perception system.
- I have also decided to try adding a few bits of color to the maps, we'll see if it sticks. The mana and basic room information is unchanged from previous versions. However, I have added some backshading to the shops, stat trainers, guild halls, etc. to make them easier to pick out on the crowded maps. Also, I have added some blue for swimming rooms and green for the rooms I am using when listing herbs on Olwydd's herb database.
The herbs section contains information on locations to buy and forage herbs. I have also been spending 2009 updating the seasonal information, which can be viewed here.
The alchemy section has my method of preparing foraged herbs for use along with tincture information and unusual recipe information. I've been updating the water location page as I find new sources while mapping. Also, I've been doing a more comprehensive check of the foraging items, looking for more accurate seasonal, day/night and item-specific factors.
The misc section has links and anything else that doesn't fit under maps, herbs or alchemy, including Elanthian Flowers and my Elanthian Altars page. Also, Kythryn's Shifting Options, which is there more for a quick reference for me than anything else.
Finally, I've done a facelift to the web site. Most of the pages are updated with the new look, I'm trying to go through and clean up content as I update the graphics. So, if you have any contributions, corrections, etc. to send in, now's the time!
